Christmas Cheer and Joy
"I have always thought of Christmas time, when
it has come round, as a good time; a kind,
forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of,
in the long calendar of the year, when men and
women seem by one consent to open their shut-up
hearts freely, and to think of people below them as i
f they really were fellow passengers to the grave,
and not another race of creatures bound on other
journeys" - Charles Dickens.
With the season of giving, caring, sharing, CSF Group plc
brought some much needed cheer to House of Joy,
Puchong. House of Joy is a non-profit charitable
home that administers shelter, care and training
to orphans, children and teens who are underprivileged,
abused, abandoned, neglected, poor and delinquent.
There was a clown to play games and entertain,
and the children were treated to snacks and ice creams
for tea. During our visit, we were reminded how fortunate
we are to be able to just spend Christmas with
our loved ones. This is because, all these children
wanted for Christmas was to be able to go home and
spend it with their family members.
At the end of the day, our efforts were rewarded
with brilliant smiles from the children.
Every Child Needs a Family
This time round, we at CSF Group decide to
support a social cause that is very close
to our hearts. We believe that children are
our future and every one of them has
a right to live. Hence, we supported
OrphanCARE, a non-profit organization
whose objectives is to give orphans
and abandoned babies in Malaysia
the love, care and security children deserve.
Their primary aim is to provide a home
for orphans and abandoned babies.
They view that orphanages should
be a transit rather than a permanent
place for children to grow with proper
We wish to highlight OrphanCARE's
plight and hope that they will
continue in their battle against abandoned
babies and orphans be placed in loving family.
